ROAED is a non-profit organization serving the New York metropolitan area, helping individuals to fight eating disorders as well as educating family and friends on the needs of the person fighting the eating disorder . Helpful information, weekly support groups and a mentoring program are available at low or no cost.

Eating Disorder Resource Center is the first out patient center to have specialized treatment programs for women and men suffering in bulimia. Currently they provide treatment for all types of eating disorders. This Center’s approach to treatment is to help individuals change behaviors and belief systems in order to help develop healthier alternatives to starving or binge eating behaviors. Each family’s situation is assessed to determine how the family can help the individual fight the eating disorder.
The Alliance for Eating Disorders Awareness
The mission of The Alliance is to spread the message that recovering from eating disorders is possible and that individuals suffering from eating disorders are not alone. The Alliance provides workshops, seminars, presentations, phone/email support, treatment referrals, and support groups to individuals and families fighting the eating disorder. Services are provided in Florida and nationwide.
